The San Francisqito watershed supports diverse land uses, including commercial nurseries, grazing lands, suburban developments, shopping centers, a university, a biological preserve, creekside trails, parks, and open space preserves. If land is used without regard for the ecological functions of the watershed, threats to creek health can result.
