URBAN RUNOFF REDUCTION:
ECO-FRIENDLY DRIVEWAY AND
PARKING LOT DEMONSTRATION PROJECT
back to Runoff reduction
The goal of this project is to reduce the impact of development on local creeks by showcasing permeable paving materials and landscape designs that direct rainwater to areas where it can soak into the ground. These kinds of "eco-friendly" techniques, if used throughout the watershed, could significantly reduce pollution and erosion and result in cleaner, healthier creeks.
Residential site:
735 Homer Avenue, Palo Alto

City parking lot site:
Parking Plaza #5, between Santa Cruz and
Menlo Avenues at Crane Street, Menlo Park
