VIRTUAL TOUR -- Residential site -- 735 Homer Ave, Palo Alto -- UNIT PAVERS AND GRASSPAVE For the second installation of unit pavers, we followed a new recommendation from the unit paver manufacturer (Basalite) and used 3/4-inch crushed rock as the base, rather than the sand-gravel mix we used for the first installation. We also used a filter fabric below the base rock to keep fine sediment from migrating into the base rock when it rains. 2/28/07
