FAQs and Updates for current Streamkeepers

Resources for current Streamkeepers

The Streamkeepers are a group of trained community volunteers who monitor the ecological health of sections of San Francisquito, Matadero, and Adobe creeks on the San Francisco Peninsula.

In addition to wildlife, they help spot debris and other blockages that can clog the creek channel. Some Streamkeepers also participate in the City of Palo Alto’s dissolved oxygen monitoring program.

To learn more about the program and how to become a Streamkeeper, contact Pam Sturner at 650-961-1035 x304 or pam@sanfrancisquito.org.
