Get Involved!
Volunteers are the heart and soul behind all of the Watershed Council's programs. We rely on volunteers to help keep us updated about creek issues throughout the watershed, to build watershed awareness and share knowledge with the community, and to provide the muscle for hands-on habitat restoration projects.
Volunteer for habitat restoration
Join us for our volunteer workdays, held one Saturday a month from September through May (Sept and May: 3rd Saturday; Oct-Apr: 1st Saturday). See calendar for dates, locations, and activities. We accept drop-ins, but appreciate RSVPs, especially for groups of 10 or more. For more information and to RSVP, contact Ryan Navratil at 650-961-1035 ext.310 or ryan@sanfrancisquito.org.
Also, children under 18 must bring a waiver / photo release form signed by a parent or guardian to participate.
Become a Streamkeeper
Adopt a stretch of creek in the San Francisquito, Matadero, Adobe, or Barron watersheds. Help keep an eye on our local creeks, and become a creek resource for your community! For more information on the Streamkeeper program and upcoming trainings and events, contact Ryan Navratil at 650-961-1035 ext.310 or ryan@sanfrancisquito.org.
Come to monthly forums
If you’d like to learn more about the San Francisquito watershed, come to the Watershed Council’s monthly Steering Committee meetings to share ideas and hear about projects, events, and other topics of interest. For more information, please contact Pam Sturner at 650-961-1035, ext.304 or pam@sanfrancisquito.org.
